Annual TWT Conference “Where Is Learning?”

Posted on by CST

The 2012 Teaching with Technology (TWT) Conference, “Where Is Learning?”, is happening on Tuesday, May 1, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Davidson Conference Center (check-in and breakfast from 8:15 a.m.). If you would like to be placed on the wait list, please click here.

This year’s conference asks the question “Where is learning?” to examine learning across a continuum that ranges from traditional face-to-face classroom interactions to fully online environments. The program features two keynote addresses: “Reality Ends Here” by Tracy Fullerton, associate professor at the School of Cinematic Arts and director of the USC Game Innovation Lab, and “A New Culture of Learning” by Doug Thomas, associate professor at the Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism.

The program ends with Provost Elizabeth Garrett’s presentation of the 2012 Provost Prize for Teaching with Technology, which is awarded annually to two exemplary faculty members. The conference program is available here.

In the spirit of creating a dynamic learning environment, we encourage you to bring tablets, smart phones, laptops and other portable devices to the event.

If your plans change after you register or you have any questions about the conference, please email cst@usc.edu.
