USC Teaching with Technology Memberships
Explore resources, attend online events and join communities available through the inter/national organizations listed to the left. USC’s institutional memberships in these inter/national organizations entitle USC instructors to take advantage of their offerings. Specific information about SLOAN-C is listed below. Sloan-C:
As a member institution, USC faculty and support staff can take advantage of an array of Sloan-C events and publications. Sloan-C supports the collaborative sharing of knowledge and effective practices to improve online education in learning effectiveness, access, affordability for learners and providers, and student and faculty satisfaction.
Please contact Otto Khera at cst@usc.edu if you are interested in the workshop or conference discounts, including the annual conference. Sign up for the Sloan-C email list to get updates on upcoming workshops, webinars, conferences and more.
Every person at the institution is considered a member, but each needs their own Sloan-C account log-in and password. If you do not have an account already, please register:
- Click here to register your account, http://sloanconsortium.org/user/register
- Once you click on the “Create New Account” button, you will be automatically brought to your “Account Profile” page.
- Please fill out whatever information you’d like on that page, the most important information being your organization. This will affiliate your account with your institution.
- Click on “Save” at the bottom and the system will now recognize you as a member.
